This Cookie Policy explains how Cliantale Limited, a company registered in New Zealand (company number 9448452) ("Cliantale", "we" or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on cliantale.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include browser storage, which works in much the same way. They help websites work, remember information, and understand how visitors use them.

2. The cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary: Cloudflare, which hosts and protects our website, may set cookies to detect bots and keep the site secure. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, sets cookies (such as _ga) to count visits and show us how people use our website. These usually last up to 2 years.
  • Advertising measurement: if and when we advertise, Google Ads and Meta may set cookies (such as _gcl_au and _fbp) to measure whether our ads led to an enquiry. These usually last up to 90 days.
  • Campaign information: our website stores, in your browser, the campaign tags and advertising click identifiers from the link you arrived through, for up to 90 days. If you send us an enquiry, this tells us which campaign brought you to us.

Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies. It loads the other tools listed above.

3. Visitors in Europe and the United Kingdom

For visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies are switched off by default and are not used unless you give consent.

4. Managing cookies

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website works.
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • You can manage how Google and Meta personalise ads in your Google and Meta account settings.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when the tools we use change. We will post the updated version on this page with its effective date.

6. Contact us

If you have questions about our use of cookies, please contact us using the contact form on our website at cliantale.com (select "Contact Now").
